Revelation chapter 15

Seven Angels with Seven plagues

V 1. "And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

GOD'S wrath poured out on a wicked world and a wicked church called Babylon that cannot be distinguished from the world.

V 2. And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

In contrast to wicked Babylon, here we see true Christianity being victorious over the name, number and image worship.

V 3. And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

The song of experience as overcomers.

V 4. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

The fear here expressed refers to GOD fearing men and women. Father Abraham obeyed GOD in willingness to sacrifice his own son when it was said of him, now we know that you fear GOD. So this GOD fearing is willing obedience. The seven last plagues are the executive judgment after the investigative judgment in the heavenly temple was completed.

V 5. And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:

The tabernacle or sanctuary temple of testimony or witness was also seen open on judgment day in Revelation 11:18,19 and contain the ark of the testament or testimony with the two tables of stone known as the Ten Commandments or the Decalogue. The Judgment is poured out on Babylon the great because they refused the 10 Commandments of GOD and substituted them with the commandments of men.

V 6. And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in  pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.

Seven is the number of perfection. 7 angels and 7 plagues!

V 7. And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.

V 8. And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled."

Wicked Babylon will be denied access to the heavenly temple by faith because probation is closed by then and the sheep have been separated from the goats. Mercy has ended. Each person has chosen whom they will serve and worship!
