The Gospel in Revelation

"And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
Saying with a loud voice: Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of water".---Rev.14:6,7

Almost word for word taken from the fourth of the Ten Commandments, the Sabbath. Here is CHRIST our creator GOD to be glorified by GOD-fearing him and honoring his day [Mark 2:27]. But also notice that the judgment hour is here, arrived.
This is contrary to conventional Christian teachings. Judgment is to come at the end of the world by the seven last plagues. But this judgment here, is the investigative judgment JESUS our great high Priest started in 1844 A.D. at the end of the 2300 days/years prophecy.

This is in accord with the doctrine of the cleansing of the sanctuary [Daniel 8:14] taught in Leviticus where the high priest of the old testament foreshadowed CHRIST'S work in the new testament. Just as in the old, the high priest would go into the most holy place only once at the end of the ceremonial year, so CHRIST has now begun cleansing the heavenly temple from the records of sin.

A lawless gospel is now very popular for the last 200 years or so. But the real gospel includes the judgment. For this we need to be in harmony with the Ten Commandments as
taught in the new testament: "If you fulfil the royal law.......you do well. For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all: for he that says, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill........so speak you, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty."---James 2:8-12

Many objectors are now saying that you must keep the whole old testament law of Moses, but this is not what James says. He writes of the royal law that King JESUS gave to Moses on Mt. Sinai on two tables of stone written by his own finger. Opponents of this end-time gospel are keen to lump all the laws together in order despise CHRIST'S holy Sabbath day and so to excuse themselves by their traditions. Neither is this what the apostle Paul and JESUS is saying, see 1.Cor.7:19 and Luke 16:16

God's judgment is further described in Ecclesiastes showing that our loving GOD is consistent and that the old testament people are judged by the same moral law: "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil."---Eccl.12:13,14

Not only are the commandments of GOD for man, JESUS said the same thing about His Sabbath, namely, that it is for man or mankind: "And he said to them: The Sabbath was made for man."---Mark 2:27

JESUS is our substitute. He died for us and our sins. He gives eternal life to us as a free gift. We are saved by JESUS through faith in His atoning sacrifice without law or any of our contribution. He give us all the help we need to keep us on the straight and narrow. But when our probation closes, either at death or his glorious coming, we will have to face the Judge:
" For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begins with us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinners appear?"

"For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."---1.Peter 4:17,18; Romans 8:3+4
Note: our bitter opponents make much of the word 'fulfilled'. They obviously are walking after the flesh when they oppose the law-abiding Gospel. They claim that the word fulfilled means to have done away with the law. Read the words of JESUS in Matthew 5:17 where He says that He did not come to destroy the law, but to fulfil. According to their interpretation, the verse would read: " I came not to destroy the law, but come to destroy it."

If the word fulfil would mean to do away with, then they must also stop loving their neighbours [Rom.13:8] and do away with righteousness [Matthew 3:15] for here are the very same word used. We can readily see the folly of their mis-interpretation.

The angel of Revelation 14 also identifies the bearers of the good news of the gospel as those who are keeping the commandments of God and have the faith of JESUS. [v.12].

Soon as we open our mouth in internet forums, they quote to us instantly that we are not under the law. When we are law-abiding citizen, than we are free and not under the condemnation of the law. But the very ones that say that we are no longer under the law, are the very ones who are under the law and stand condemned in the judgment. Christianity in the past never spoke like this before.

Another favoured they quote is 2.Corinthians chapter three trying to tell us that the Ten Commandments are done away with and were an administration of death. But it doesn't say this. It was the daily killing of animal sacrifices that was the administration of death. They were designed to stop sinning. but it didn't work. It was the glory and veil on Moses face that done away and not God's holy law of the Ten Commandments. And yes. it is the letter that kills, but not the Spirit for the Ten Commandments are the holy law of the Holy Spirit [Romans 7:7-14]. these are now written into our hearts [Hebrews 8:6-15] [Rom.8:3+4]

JESUS did not think that the Ten Commandments are a ministration of death. When asked how to obtain eternal life, He said to keep them. The rich young ruler asking the question did not think that all the commandments were the same, for ask "which ones"?
"Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?......if you want to enter life, keep the commandments. And he said unto Him, Which? JESUS said, Thou shalt no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honor thy father and mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."--- Matthew 20:16-19

What is the moral fall of Babylon?

Ancient Babylon fell when the king Belshazzar called for the sacred vessels of God's holy sanctuary to be used in a drunken party to be desecrated. God's handwriting appeared on the wall and finnished his kingdom that night.

How is modern spiritual Babylon fallen?

Papal Rome became the Mother of harlots when she prostituted the Christian religion with paganism. The church of Rome is a political power as well as religious.

Friendship with the world is termed enmity with God (cf. James 4:4 and Revel.17).

Belshazzar only touched the sacred vessels of the first apartment, the holy. Papal Rome was more daring and went into the holy of holiest, the most holy, where the ark of God's covenant or testament agreement with us contain the Ten Commandments. Belshazzar is the forunner of all who are touching the sacred vessels of the Lord our GOD.

Papal Rome claimed authority from heaven to change them. To please the pagan sun worshippers, she removed the second of the Ten Commandments which forbids idolatry and image making even under the ground. She brought into Christianity the false worship of images and idols, saint worship and many other things including Necromancy (talking to the dead), hell, purgatory and limbo. Purgatory takes the place of Christ's cleansing blood of Calvary.

The sun worshipping pagans of Rome also demanding their own worship day of the sun, and so Emperor Constantine and papal Rome agreed to take out the fourth commandments of the Creator God, the Sabbath of Christ and substituted it with one of their own---Sunday, the day of the sun god.

Protestantism

Protestants try to do one better than papal and pagan Rome by declaring all of the Ten Commandments nailed to the cross of Christ and done away under the pretense of love. But love in the Bible is never separated from God's holy moral Law.

started to take out the sacred vessels of God's sanctuary. The sanctuary itself is also soiled and trodden under foot (Daniel 8:13,14; Revel.11:1-3).

The Methodist Hiram Edson in 1844 was the first Protestant to see the sacred ark of God in heaven on judgment day (see Rev.11:18). The ark contains the original Ten Commandments on tables of stone (1.King 8:9) and Moses was only given a copy of what was already in heaven (Hebrews 8:1-5). this holy Law will judge us in the last days which is now (James 2:8-12;Eccl.12:13,14).

Judgment must first begin at the house of God (1.Pet.4:17). The house of God is His Temple or Sanctuary and household of faith, Christ's body, the church.

If you have followed the thread and seen apocalypse II, you would have noticed in Revelation 11:6 a reference the angel made to the Sabbath day of the fourth commandment. He swore by our Creator God, which of course is our Lord Jesus. All things were created by Him.

In Revelation 14:6 the angel gives us a call to worship: " And worship Him (Jesus) that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of water. In 1844 when this call was first given, Adventists learned from the Seventh Day Baptist Church the truth about the real day of worship and how Rome had interfered and changed the day. Adventists saw that all the Ten Commandments are in the heavenly Temple and all ten are used to judge the Christian (Hebrews 8:1-5; Rev.11:19; 1.Kings 8:9 James 2:8-12 etc.) and complied in changing worship from Sunday back to Saturday.

At the very time that God drew attention to the advent and the true Sabbath, we saw ex-oxford theology student Charles Darwin inventing the theory of evolution that was quickly applauded by non Christians at first. It is satanic in the regard to origin of the species in that if we are coming from the animals or slime pit, we are not responsible for our actions.

The judgment, however, tells us the opposite. Some Christians of late trying to tell us that nobody can keep the Ten Commandments! Q.: Would God asks us something that would be impossible? Of course not. Do they find it to hard to stop swearing and cursing? Or to bear false witness and covet, or hard to be faithful to their spouse? To hard to go to church on Saturday instead of Sunday? The cross of Christ is proof for all time that God cannot by pass His holy law.

"And the Nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged..........and the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in His temple the ark of His testament.".---Rev.11:18,19.

From the old testament we can learn what, why, when of the temple services that foreshadowed the work of Christ as our High Priest. The subject of the Sanctuary of God and its services had not been studied prior the 1844 Millerite movement, because they thought it was this earth and it suited the fire and brimstone preachers of the day that God was on His way to cleanse the earth by fire. See separate study on the 2300 day/year prophecy. It was the temple of God that needed cleansing or justifying.

"Unto 2300 days, than shall the sanctuary be cleansed."---Dan.8:14. note, the ark of the testament in heaven containing God's law is not Noah's ark.

Revelation 12
"And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars."

Q.: Who is the woman? A.: the N.T. Christian Gospel church! in Rev.14 we see the 144 000 virgins of which it is said that they were not defiled with women, i.e., the other churches. A corrupt church or woman is pictured in Rev.17 because of her worldliness and association with politics. Of the true Christian it is said: 'ye are the light of the world' i.e. we shine for Jesus.

We are clothed with the sun of righteousness and the crown that Jesus promised us if we endure unto the end. The twelve stars of the crown are the twelve tribes of the old testament and the twelve apostle of the new. And the moon under her feet? The Gospel is now shining the brightest since we saw the crucifixion and just as the moon reflects the light of the sun, so the old testament only saw the cross dimly.

The apostle Paul says:" For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ."---2.Cor.11:2

Every believer can be cleaned up from sin as if he/she has never sinned, providing you do not get defiled by other women. In Matthew 25 Jesus says that there are 10 pure virgins waiting for His advent, i.e. Adventists. But 50% are foolish in that they did not take enough spare oil with them and ran out. This oil represents the Holy Spirit that enlightens every Christian, gives us power over sin, power to witness and also appropriates the righteousness of our Savor from sin.

Q.: Has anyone ever heard of Mother Mary fleeing in the wilderness for 1260 days? No? I haven't either. But I know that the early church kept all of God's Ten Commandments and fled from the Papal See for 1260 days of years (see Apocalypse II) escaping the torture, the rack and the burning at the stake. We see the Remnant or the Leftovers (see the menu, Present truth) in Rev.12:17 identifiable as keeping the commandments of God .

In Revelation 19 we see the wife or woman dressed up how? On judgment day Jesus sees a man not wearing the wedding garment. It was customary in the east to provide guests with a special wedding garment. To us Christians, this is the white robe of Christ's righteousness.

As already mentioned, the papal persecution of 1260 years from 538 to 1798 a.d. a day for a year and doesn't fit any other way.

Dr. M.R.DeHaan asserts that 'the woman can be no other than the nation of Israel.....and again......Those who would make the woman the Church will find it difficult to harmonize this fact with their interpretation.'---in 35 simple studies of the major themes in Revelation, Zondervan publ.,21st printing,pp.167,168.

Is the Nation of Israel a shining light of God's truth today? No? I don't think so either.

Q.: "Are the 144 000 virgins in Revelation fourteen Jews? There is absolutely no evidence to support this claim of many evangelicals today. In Revel. ch. 7, we see 12 000 of each tribe sealed. Yet ten of the 12 tribes were lost and integrated into Syria long ago before revelation was written.

This is because the names of the twelve are not physical but spiritual names of the new testament Christians. James tells us so: "James, a servant of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greetings."---James 1:1

So is the word Israel today. Jacob gained the victory in prayer and was renamed to 'Israel' and the word means 'overcomer as a prince with God'. Jacob's 12 sons became the heads of the 12 tribes and were named after each of the 12 sons. At his deathbed side, Jacob blessed each son and tells us about their characters. One for instance, had been weak as water sexually but with God's help overcame. So the sealing work in Rev.7 is all about character building in Christ, growing up into our Lord.

Throughout the history, the mark of the beast was understood to mean different things in other times. however, Revelation 13 indicates clearly that the ultimate application of the mark of the beast 666 is set for the time of the end, just prior to the Second Coming.
In the final crisis, the mark of the beast will become a sign of allegiance for those who worship the satanic trinity, in contrast to those who worship GOD and obey Him in keeping His commandments.
The mark of the beast in Revelation also stands in sharp contrast to the seal of GOD. The basic function of both the mark and the seal is ownership, identity, and protection.

The difference between the mark and the seal can also be seen in the way the two are opposites fought out during the Protestant Reformation. Rome insisted that in Romans chapter seven, Paul is a unconverted man, while the other side insisted that Paul is already converted while he wrote it and lived it.

The church of Rome holds that sprinkling babies with so called holy water takes away the sinful nature. But what about the adult convert like St. Paul? Did he get sprinkled by anybody?

Paul however saw it differently: I had not known sin, but by the law; for I had not known lust, except by the law had said, Thou shalt not covet."--Rom.7:7

The lust of the flesh becomes real well known to us when you become converted. Where there was previously peace, now there is war. Our fallen evil nature always strives for the mastery. But Paul found the solution he is passing on to us; "I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin in my members. Oh wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
I thank GOD through JESUS CHRIST our Lord. So then with my mind I myself serve the law of GOD; but with the flesh the law of sin. There is therefore no condemnation to them which are in CHRIST JESUS, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit."---Rom.7:23-8:1.

As long as we overcome the flesh by walking in the power of GOD's Holy Spirit, we shall not fulfill the lust thereof. This solution is even more clearly expressed by St. Paul in Gal.2:20 "I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me.....walk in the spirit, and you shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh."----2:20; 5:16

But when you fool you selves in thinking that you have no sin, nor sinful tendencies to overcome, then the nature of the beast 666 has full reign. The masses will gladly worship such a beast.

The Everlasting Gospel

Revelation 11 speaks of the Sanctuary Temple of GOD in heaven where our Lord JESUS is now officiating as Christianities high Priest and interceeding for us. But since the papacy had obscured this part of salvation, protestant Reformers never even took hold of it and it was not until the Millerites after the 1844 disappointment were to investigate it.

Here they found that the heavenly Sanctuary was the original and that the earthly was only a copy of it [Hebrews 8:1-5]. Here the everlasting Gospel of our Lord JESUS CHRIST is fully explained in word pictures. The outer linen of the temple represents the righteousness of JESUS because it was white. The furniture were arranged in form of the cross of CHRIST. The altar of sacrifice and the lamb is where JESUS took our sins. The altar of incence is where our prayers rise to GOD.

As soon as JESUS died on the cruel cross for our sins, the earthly Temple Vail was torn from top to bottom without a hand. it signified the end of the sacrificial system JESUS came to fulfil and the heavenly Temple Sanctuary became active.

The Temple of GOD has two divisions, the holy and the most holy or holy of Holiest. And it is here that the ark of the testament or covenant contains the holy moral law of GOD, the 10 Commandments and GOD'S Mercy Seat of pure gold. Above it are two of GOD"S leading angel's showing the great interest that the angelic hosts have in seeing the battle between good and evil pointed out by GOD'S Law and Mercy.

This Gospel does not teach that man can save himself. it is the bleeding substitutionary sacrifice, the lamb of GOD that does the saving plus the intercessory work of the great high Priest.
